Patch 1.1 - Map interface added


Howdy, Whitaker Metaphysical family.

The latest update adds a host of improvements to the game. Including:

  • MAP SYSTEM: A new in-game Map System will help you track your location outside of bathrooms and the hedge maze. You can access this with M on keyboard or SELECT/BACK on controllers at any time you can pause.
  • ENEMY FREQUENCY ADJUSTMENTS: The enemy was appearing far too frequently, making gameplay somewhat tedious. We have altered enemy frequency to be less regular although the enemy tends to appear in similar spots to make for more natural encounters.
  • ENEMY AI ADJUSTMENTS: In another adjustment, your Run is now more useful. When running in a room with an unaware Patches, he will now chase you immediately. This will make it easier to lure him when trying to reach the next room faster or set traps. Also, you can now run past the wall enemies in the Living Quarters and use any button input to escape their grasp.
  • EASY MODE RESPAWN BUG: On Easy Mode, the game would place Lydia in a chase scene on respawning. This has been fixed.
  • AUDIO OPTIMIZING: Several voice files were playing inconsistently due to some odd export choices on the audio side. Most of these have been now switched to Mono for more consistently during story scenes where it is necessary.
  • PERMADEATH GONE? : There is a mysterious video tape now hiding in the RGB Maze. It changes places every game and will allow you disable permadeath (Except on Hard Mode). Find it - or receive our mercy in time if you die enough.
